Description
Every prop firm resets its daily loss limit at a moment decided by the broker’s server clock, never by your PC clock. MetaTrader 5 has no built-in counter for it, and the two clocks rarely agree, so a trader cannot tell whether the daily limit is about to reset or has just reset. This Expert Advisor puts that answer permanently on the chart.
You get the live broker server clock, your own computer clock beside it, and a countdown to the next daily reset, all recomputed once per second.
Accurate on weekends and holidays. The panel reads the terminal’s calculated server clock rather than the time of the last incoming quote. The usual market-time source freezes at the Friday close because no quotes arrive, which is exactly when a stale countdown would be most misleading. A one-second timer drives the display, so nothing here depends on incoming ticks.
Daylight saving is handled. The target reset time is recalculated from scratch on every tick from the current server time, so no fixed offset is ever cached across days and a broker-side clock shift is picked up automatically.
Display only, on purpose. There is no trading code in the file at all: it never places, modifies or closes an order or a position. No DLLs, no deprecated functions, no external files. Every chart object carries the chart’s own ID in its name, so you can run it on as many charts at once as you like, and removing the EA removes every object it drew.
Requirements: MetaTrader 5, build 3800 or newer. Runs on demo, live, funded and challenge accounts alike.
